Operating models for the AI era

Most organizations were designed for scalable output. They were not designed for scalable decision quality.

I write about operating models for the AI era. After nearly 30 years inside companies at every scale, from fifty-person startups through hyperscalers like Amazon and Meta, I've come to believe the hardest problem isn't execution. It's how organizations actually make decisions when the old friction is gone.

This site is where I work that out in public.

If this feels familiar

Decisions that should be obvious keep coming back to you. Different teams are solving the same problem in different ways. AI increased output. But alignment got worse.

Nothing looks obviously broken. But things don't add up. This is not an execution problem.

It's a decision system that was never designed for this level of speed.
